The Flu got me how about you

Well I got the flu for the first time in years. I must say it really sucks. I had a fever of 101. My face swelled up and I could not see for a day. The funny thing is I went to the hospital and they tested me for H1N1. They could not tell me if I had it for sure. The test takes 3 days to come back. By then it is gone. What a waste of 70 bucks. So if any one out is sick or about to get sick with the flu I feel for ya. The only thing I can say is hang in there and remember it only last 3 to 5 days. Unless you die then there is no coming back from that. Hello old man winter.

New York Pictures

Well here here is a picture from the New York Trip. This is the a picture of the river right before the Falls. I never knew how powerful water could be. It kinda make want to jump into a barrel and ride it down to the bottom. Now that would be a great time. Makes me wonder how many people have done that before. A LIFE CUT SHORT

Its hard to think that you have been gone now for three years. It was like yesterday that we were at the river. That was some of the best times of my life. You loved to grab your tube and float down the river. You always had the tunes cranked up. Life was so much fun and we did not have a care in the world. I miss the way you would say "Good goal A". You sounded like you were from Canada and you would crack me up. I talk to your kids now and then. They are doing really good. They miss you very much. As I do to. I know your in a better place now, looking down on us. I hope you get to float down the great river in the sky every day. I will never forget you as you were part of my life. And I am so happy that you were in my life.

Well summer is about over. Its time to get out the warm cloths. I love fall. The tress turn, and there is nothing better in this world then a good home made apple pie. Then there is Halloween. There is some much fun in carving up a pumpkin. The best part is making a pie out of it. This summer had its ups and downs. I will miss the warm weather, the long bike bike rides. So as we all say see ya summer. HELLO FALL.

THE NEW YORK TRIP

Well I made it back from New York. I have to say what a great time I had. It only rain once on us. Other than that the weather was great. It was a really fun time and I can wait till next year to go back up there. The one thing I did find is that smokes were 8 bucks a pack. The harley did great. I think I need a bigger bike if I am going to take these long trips. If any one has a bike I would say take a long trip some were cool at least once a year. I will take all the stress away and you will come back a new person. I should have some pictures up from the trip some time this week.

New Harley

Well here is the new harley davidson. Its a 883 xl 2007. I am getting ready to leave this Friday to head to New York. This should be a great trip and I am so looking forward to it. Its only 550 mile ride so it should not be to bad. I should have some pictures up when I get back. With my luck it will rain all the way there and back.

Well we got a new dog. Her name is Muffin. She is 2 years old. She was already named when we got her. She is pretty cool but I dont think I would of named her Muffin. Muffin loves to be petted. If you start, well lets just say you can not stop. If you do she will let you know by licking you to death. So welcome new dog.

The rich get richer

This is a house that I did the inter trim on. It took 8 guys almost a year to trim out. The house sits on 35 acres and at a cost of 5 million. That was just for the house not the land. Dont get me wrong its a very nice house. I has 9 bedrooms with 7 full bath rooms. The rounded part the you can see goes from the basment all the way to the roof. I rember when the home owner was talking to the fance guy. The home owner said that it was a good deal at a 100,000 to have some of the land fanced off. Thats more than my house was. So like the title of the post The rich get richer.

This was a really fast Vett that we had. I really loved this car. We use to show it at Vett shows. We never won any thing with it but it was still to drive to the show and meet over people that loved vetts. As we all know these are really bad times. So we had to sell it. But one day we will buy a new one.

This post is to my best friend that I ever had. He always stood by me in good times and bad. When we had no were to live, sleeping in the cold Arizona night in my car. He stood by me. When I only had 4 bucks to my name and we had no food, he stood by me. He loved me and did not have terms. So to my best friend, my dog, I will miss you very much. I know you are in a better place were you are not hurting any more. I will never forget the times we had both good and bad. Rest in peace.

DINOSAUR'S IN THE CITY

Well last weekend we went down Cincinnati to see the dinosaur's. I have to say that this was the cooliest thing I have seen in a while. These dinosaur's moved. There were even some that walked around. It was almost like they were alive. I am not to sure if this show goes to other citys but should it come to a town near you and you have the time, I would go and check it out. So enjoy these pictures.

I soo love this picture of my sisters kid. Its hard to belive that she is now 3 years old. Its funny how kids grown up so fast. Some times I wish they would stay that little. But as we all know they dont. They grow up and turn in little people that think they know every thing. When I took this picture there was no light in the room. So I took it in black and white. Not to sure how the light was on her dress. I would like to think that maybe god him self was looking down on her. Hope you like the picture.

Well like I have said before, I grew in a small town in the midwest. I think this picture says it all. I think some times people forget what life is all about. To me its about family. With out family what do you really have. Its easy to forget that. Its kinda funny as I get older and I look back at when I was a kid. Those were the best times of my life. Did not have to worry about bills or going to work. The only thing I had to worry about was when can I go out and play. Back then we did not have the internet or cell phones or ipods. If your mom needed you for some thing she would just open the door and yell your name. God help ya if you did not here her. Ya and we ate tuna fish out of a can that you had to use a key to open the can. HDTV what was that. We like 5 channels and yes you had to get up out of your chair to change the channel. Some one told me that there a song about all of this, I have never heard it before but I am going to check it out. So if you have time one day, you might want to stop and look around and rember family is what it is all about. At least to me it is.

White water rafting

Well the for my trip is getting close and I must say I cant wait. I went last year down the upper gully and it was a blast. I spent the weekend looking for my rafting shoes that used last year. Ya you are all right, I could not find them. So might have to buy some new ones. Any ways Ill get some more pictures up and keep you all updated as I get closer to going on my trip.

THE GREAT HURRICANE

Well last year Ohio had a hurricane. Our house had some damage in which I am still fighting with the insurance company. Funny how you send them money every month, in case some thing happens. Then when some thing does happen, guess what. They dont want to pay to fix it. Its like a scam. Well any ways we had a tree fall down and almost hit our house. We had part of the tree fall into the roof, so the roof is wasted. Siding rip off the house. And to boot we were with out power for 4 days. So all of the food we had in the fridge was bad. On a brighter note no one killed or hurt. So here are a few pictures of the Hurricane of 2008. Hope I never have to deal with any thing like this again.

Happy ST Patrick's day. I know I posted this picture before. But it is so funny. My dog is really into his ears. You have to watch out if you have a beer. If you were to sent your beer down, he would drink it. Why do dogs like beer? After 13 years I know why they call a dog mans best freind. He is my best friend. BACK YARD CAMPING

So how many people have done this before. You know you want to go camping, its a nice day out and the night should be just as nice. But you really dont feel like packing up the car and driving an hour. Then once you get there you have to unpack the car, set up your site ect. I mean dont get me wrong, I like to camp and do all of that but there is times when I just want to set up camp and kick back with a cold one. Back yard camping can be just as fun as going to a camp site. Plus the next the day all you have to do is walk to the back door and your home.

HOUSE ON FIRE

Well yesterday I was woke up to fire trucks out side of my house. So I got up to see what was going on. Well the house two doors down was on fire. The water heater had a short in it which caused a electric fire. These fire fighters tore this house up. They cut holes in the roof, pulled down all of the dry wall. No one was hurt, thank god.

The Great Falls

Well I Have to say I liked this water fall a lot better than the other. The reason for that is, it was only a 2 mile walk one way to get to these falls. I never knew how many water falls there were in the smokys till we went there. A person could spend all week hiking in the woods looking at water falls. I must say they are kinda cool and I would go back again. I wounder what kind of falls Ill run into on the white water rafting trip that I am going on.

Ok I found the picture of the water fall from when we were down in the Smokys. This picture will make you turn your head. We had to walk three miles one way to see it. Looking back, it was worth it. At the time I was thinking to my self, why in the hell am I walking up and down all these hills to see some water fall. Like you seen one you seen them all right. But it was not the water fall that made the walk so cool, it was all of the people we meet along the way. And one bear that we saw. Would I walk six miles again to see some water fall in the great smokys. Humm well in a heart beat. So I hope you like this picture.

White water rafting at the gorge

Ok well we just booked a trip the Gorge. We will down in Virginia for three days. We booked the trip through Rivermen. We have been on a trip with them once before and had a blast. So this trip back down to the gorge should be just as fun. We are going to be down there in July so the weather should be warm lol. If you have not be rafting in Virginia then you should make a date to go to the gorge. Even if you are not in to white water rafting, you should still go down to the gorge in Virginia just to take in the sites. Also they have a thing called bridge day. It were people base jump from the bridge. Its the crazyest thing I have ever seen. So make a date, plan a trip and go and check it out. I will have pictures from the trip on here in July. In the mean time I will try to find some pictures of the last trip we went on and have up in a few.

This bear is from the Cincinnati Zoo. Every time we go down there I like to check him out. He is the biggiest one out of the four bears that are down there. The Cincinnati Zoo is one of the best zoo that I have been to. The zoo has lots of cool animals. The best time to see this bear is feeding time. This beat can eat. So if you are ever in Cincinnati you should stop in. Its worth every penny.

This is a really cool water fountain that is at the Navy Pier. I am not to sure who had more fun, the kids or the grown ups. We must have spent like an hour watching the water go from pond to pond. If you were ever looking for a fun place to spend a day, well this would be the place to go. There is a ton of things to do there and its not very expensive.

This is a house in the State Park in the smokys. There was a plack that said back in the 20's the state was trying to get people to move out of the State Park and this was the last person to leave. There was also a picture of the lady that lived there. She looked kinda ruff. Makes me wonder how bears she saw. Looking back, she had life by the balls. Ok her house was not the best but think about it, she did not have all the stress and worry we have today. Any ways I hope you like this picture.

Well here is another picture of the great smokys. Funny story here, well kinda. We were up in the State Park, which is really nice. One of the best ones I have ever been to. There were posts all over the place WATCH OUT FOR BEARS. Well when I saw that I was like ya right. As many people that are walking around here, a bear would run for his life. So any ways we started to walk 6 miles back into the woods to check out this water fall that everyone said we had to go and check out. (pics of the water fall will be on here soon) Well as we were about 3 miles back guess what we saw. Yep a dam bear!!! I think the words I used was HOLY CRAP A DAM BEAR. Wrong thing to yell in the woods. I don't know who was running faster, us or the bear. So I have learned that when you see post saying Watch out for bears, well thats what it means. lol

Well on this day at the Brick Yard 400 in Indy was a killer day. Not only did nascar come town but so did all of my friends. What a killer day. Racing, beer, and girls lol. What more could some one ask for. We go back to Indy every year and it is still fun as it was the first day I went.

Hello my name is MO. I live in cincinnati Ohio. I grew up here and just can't seem to leave. I have moved away 4 times and every time I keep finding my way back. So I guess Ohio is home for me.
I have many travels, I taken many pictures of some really cool places I have been and seen. Being that I have grew up in a small town in Ohio, many of my friends just don't know that there is a great big world out there past the old mail box at the edge of town. No blast to them but I like to see new places and meet new people.
